Nitro has been consistent wherever he runs not just on his home circuit! Nitro is our first field trial dog, he has accomplished the above with a rookie handler, the question must be asked: What could he have done if he had been with someone more experienced? Nitro
is very intelligent and tractable, an excellent marker, a precise
handling dog, and an excellent water dog. He has a big leaping
water entry and loves long birds. He is very low maintenance
and eager to please, easy to train and run at trials.

Physical Traits: Nitro is a muscular built 75 lb. dog with a coal black nose and chestnut brown eyes. He has all black pigment. Nitro is hunted each fall on pheasants, huns, chuckars, and ducks. He is a super pheasant dog who has incredible stamina and would go all day busting cover. He exhibits pointing instincts. Nitro is a well behaved house dog that is calm and pleasant to have around by your side or at your feet. Yet, he is still a puppy at heart.
UNLIKE MANY LABRADOR STUD DOGS, Nitro has both his hips and elbows OFA'd. He is one of the very few Labradors which has an annual eye CERF each and every year for seven years.
